Russell Davies | Instructor

Started diving as a SAUU 1* Diver in 1993 and still at it today. Instructor qualifications:  CMAS, NAUI, PADI, SDI / TDI. Favourite Inland dive site: Marico Oog. Favourite ocean dive site: Toss up between Rampart Serpent, Mauritius and Aliwal Shoal.

 

Russell Bradbrooke | Instructor

Started diving as a CMAS 1 Star Diver in 1999. Currently a CMAS 2 Star Instructor and Advanced Nitrox Instructor. Passionate about: Technical diving and qualified with TDI as an Advanced Wreck, Advanced Cave, Advanced Trimix Diver and Advanced Gas Blender.  Love deep wall dives. Most phenomenal dives: Sipidan, Cozumel and Southern Red Sea. Greatest dive achievement: Advanced Trimix Dive in 2006 to a depth of 153m off Sodwana Bay.

Dr Mark Botha | Instructor

Dr Mark Botha has been a member of Normalair Underwater Club since 1993. He is qualified as a CMAS 2 Star and Advanced Nitrox Scuba Instructor and has held the post of Normalair Training Officer for a number of years. He is involved in all the Scuba courses presented by NUC. He is also the Medical Director of the Milpark Hyperbaric Medicine Centre. His interests include underwater photography, underwater video, marine science and conservation. Best dive spot – depends on what you wish to see!

 

Robert Nortje | Instructor

Robert Nortje is an active participant at Normalair Underwater Club and joined in 2000. He qualified as a CMAS 2 Star and Advanced Marine Science Instructor in 2008. Currently holds the NUC Training Officer Portfolio, and performs the role of Course Director for all Normalair courses. He is a passionate Marine Science Ambassador. Favourite critter spot: The intertidal zone. Favourite dive spot: In water
